Original was painted from memory in acrylics on an 18 x 30 canvas and is #1 in a series of Studies of “Blue & White Chinese Porcelain”.
I have always had a fondness for the colors “Blue & White” together and my thoughts were to create something that was slightly different that what you normally see in a painting. Even though these wonderful objects are not expensive, they are to me a delight to look at, therefore to paint.
Painting #2 in the series titled: “A Summers Dream” is a study of different patterns on the porcelain and their relationship to their surroundings, in both color, form and texture.

Giclee' (pronounced "ghee-clay", is a French word meaning to Spray ink. All of my Giclee' are reprduced on acid free, 100% Archival Rag Watercolor Paper, and are 425 g/m by weight. They are printed with rchival ink and are lightfast guaranted fot 200 years. All are signed and consecutively numbered.
