Wild Apple Blossoms
Because of our moist climate here in Oregon, we often get a profusion of different kinds of moss, which grow at certain times of the year on our trees.

Although I am not sure how the actual moss affects the health of the trees, it is sure beautiful to look at and paint. So I thought this would nice to incorporate it into my painting.

This particular tree was in an abandoned field near where I live and while I was taking some notes and a rough sketch, I met the farmer. He informed me that this was an old pear orchard, and for some reason a single wild apple tree grew.
